Abu Dhabi, UAE: The United Arab Emirates has announced an indefinite trade embargo on Iran. The gulf nation’s suspension of all commercial exchange with the Islamic republic came after alleged Iranian missile attacks.
The suspension will be applicable until further notice, said the Emirates Foreign Ministry in a statement. Since Fujairah port was targeted on May 4, the gulf nation reportedly its first potential incoming missile threat on Tuesday, leading to the unprecedented announcement from UAE officials.
