1 Killed, Several Injured In Gun Shooting Incident At Switzerland Rave Party
Switzerland: At least one person was killed and five others were injured after someone opened fire at a rave party in northern Switzerland on Sunday, August 30. Two of the injured are reportedly in serious condition, according to Swiss police.
A search operation is underway to nab the perpetrators, whose identities are not yet known. The motive and circumstances of the incident are also not known.
Cantonal police in Aargau appealed to the public for any film or pictures of the incident to trace the accused. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Several gunshots were reportedly fired. Police cordoned off several areas of the Aarau town and increased their presence beyond the town as a precaution.

Notably, despite Switzerland being one of the highest rates of gun ownership in Europe, violent shootings incidents are rare in the country.
