Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) chose not to answer when asked about visit of world leaders including Mr.Xi earlier this month. “I have nothing to offer in this regard at the moment” Chinese Misnistry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday.
Mr.Xi has attended every G-20 summit since he came to power in 2013 except Rome G-20 during which China was under the iron grip of covid pandemic. Choosing not to visit Delhi this year would capture glaring attention given the current geopolitical situation between India and China at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
