The Verge reported that a ‘“Trump2024 ” banner appeared on the What’s Happening summary on X as part of Trump’s team promotional effort on the last night of the Republican National Convention. Later it was found that the label popped up doing a copyright infringement on the platform.

The surprising part is that the image is of very low resolution of the most popular image on Trump’s profile. This banner showcases the unlawful promotional strategies leading to copyright infringement on social media platforms.

The banner image resembles the AP (Associated Press) Evan Vucci’s photo which was taken after a murder attack befell during a recent event in the US. However AP confirmed that the image is only available for editorial use and cannot be used for any unauthorised purpose. The Verge asked for clarification from the X platform as it was stated that the hashmoji animations are available to use as commercial products.
The representative neither provided information regarding the license of the image or the details regarding the purchaser nor the commercial availability of the image or such products. Earlier this week, Former US President and Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot in the ear on Sunday during a rally in Pennsylvania. In a statement, Trump’s spokesman said he was “fine” and was being “checked out” at a local medical facility.
