The camaraderie and close relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump have recently turned into a war of words. On Thursday, Musk came up with a shocking claim that Donald Trump is not disclosing Epstein files relating to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein because his name is included in it.
This new allegation came after the tech giant was in conflict with Trump over the former’s criticism of the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’.

“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,” Tesla tycoon also added. However, Musk did not provide any evidence to substantiate the claim.
Meanwhile, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt called Mr. Musk’s behaviour “an unfortunate episode”, and added that Tesla CEO is “unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted.”
Epstein Files
The term “Epstein files” refer to documents, videos, and investigative materials collected over many years in connection with multiple criminal cases against Epstein and his associates. Some of the court documents, such as his 2008 Florida plea deal and his 2019 federal charges in New York had been made public – but most remained sealed.
Since Trump’s return to power, his administration has released some Epstein files and assured that more would follow. In May, Attorney-General Pam Bondi stated that the FBI was reviewing ‘tens of thousands’ of related documents and added that materials would be released once necessary redactions in order to protect victims and any ongoing investigations were made.

Trump and Epstein were friends for nearly two decades. However, there is no publicly available evidence to suggest that Trump had engaged in illegal activity with Epstein.
Epstein died by suicide in a New York prison after being arrested on a string of trafficking charges in 2019.
