US President Donald Trump, on Wednesday (May 21) yet again claimed he had settled the recent conflict between India and Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

While speaking at the White House’s Oval Office during a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Trump made the remark again. He suggested that trade was the key factor involved in the settlement process.

“If you take a look at what we just did with Pakistan and India… we settled that whole, and I think I settled it through trade,” US President said.

Trump, continuing his remarks, referred to the ‘leader of Pakistan’ as ‘great’ and called Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘a great guy,’ also stating that India was his ‘friend.’ Ramaphosa responded that Modi was a mutual friend.
