Malayalam acting great Mohanlal has started shooting for his 360th movie, directed by Tharun Moorthy. The actor shared a set of photos from the puja session of the movie, which also stars Shobana, Chippi, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju, among others. Moorthy is famous for his critically acclaimed works like Opration Java and Saudi Vellakka.

“On the set, joining in prayers as we commence filming the project led by director Tharun Moorthy and produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. I express my deepest gratitude and seek your blessings as I embark on my 360th film venture,” the Lucifer actor wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Actor Binu Paapu took to Instagram to share the update with a picture of the clapboard.

Since the announcement of the film, fans have been excited to see the much-loved duo of Mohanlal and Shobana reunite after over two decades. The pair was last seen sharing the screen in Mampazhakkalam in 2004.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Shobana posted a video announcing her return to the Malayalam film industry after a hiatus. Expressing her excitement to share the screen with Mohanlal once again in what is going to be their 56th film together, Shobana said, “Just hope everyone loves the film.”

The actress was last seen in the 2020 film Varane Avashyamund, directed by Anoop Sathyan.

Moorthy’s L360 will be produced by M. Ranjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media.

Mohanlal was last seen in the Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial Malaikottai Vaaliban. His other upcoming ventures include Barroz: Guardian of Treasures, set to be directed by the actor himself, Jeethu Jospeh’s Ram 1, and the much-awaited sequel L2: Empuraan directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
