Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor was spotted at the Wankhede Stadium for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Friday. Kapoor was present at the stadium to promote her upcoming movie ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ along with the film director Sharan Sharma.
In a video that went viral on X, she can also be seen cheering for Mumbai Indians from the stands.

She took to Instagram to post pictures of her promotion during the match, where she wore a T-shirt, with ‘Cricket Is Life Aur Life is Cricket’ written on its back.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians slumped to their fourth consecutive loss in the match. The Hardik Pandya-led side produced excellent bowling performance to bundle out KKR to 169 runs after opting to bowl. In response, the hosts faltered in their chase as they managed only 145 runs. It was the first victory for KKR in 12 years at the Wankhede Stadium.
“I mean obviously in the batting inning, we couldn’t form partnerships and kept losing wickets, in T20s if you don’t form partnerships, it will cost you. Not much, there are a lot of questions but that will take some time to answer but for now, not much to say,” Pandya said after the match.
“As you mentioned, the bowlers did a fantastic job, the wicket got a little better after the first innings, the dew came on. We will go through the game and see what could we have done better. You keep fighting, that is what I tell to myself, never leave the battlefield, tough days come but good also come here, it’s challenging but challenges make you better,” he added.
