Following the investigation related to firing outside Salman Khan’s house, the case has been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch, with reportedly more than 10 teams investigating.

On April 14, reports of gunshots fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra surfaced. According to reports, the two unidentified people, related to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, fired more than four shots.

Based on reports, the Anti-Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have sought details of the case, though no request has been made to transfer the case to the agencies as of yet.

Notably, the police vehicle stationed outside the actor’s house was not present on the morning of the shooting, reported News18.

Preliminary investigations by the Mumbai Police reveal that the bike-borne, unidentified men made a “calculated move.” Police have also found a live cartridge at the incident spot. Investigations are going on to identify the assailants. The CCTV footage shows the two men, with their faces covered under the helmets, arriving on the scene on a two-wheeler. The police suspect that one of the assailants is involved in multiple killings and robberies in Haryana and is wanted for the murder of Gurugram-based businessman Sachin Munjal in March.

It is likely that the suspected man, Vishal aka Kalu, from Gurugram, is associated with gangster Rohit Godara. Godara had taken responsibility for the murder of the businessman. Notably, Gadora is also a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, and Goldy Brar.

Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the firing through a social media post, claiming that the firing, a “first and last warning,” was a “trailer.” In a Facebook post, he wrote, “We want peace, if the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it.” The IP address of the post has been traced back to Canada. The police are investigating the potential use of a VPN for the Facebook post.

The Connection Between Lawrence Bishnoi And Salman Khan

Lawrence Bishnoi came into the limelight after he and Goldy Brar claimed to be behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on May 29, 2022. The 31-year-old gangster made multiple threats against Salman Khan in the past following the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. Blackbucks are believed to be a sacred animal within the Bishnoi community.

Lawrence Bishnoi claims that all he wants is for the actor to apologize to the community for humiliating them by allegedly poaching a blackbuck and visit the community temple.
