In a bid to ensure the integrity of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organising national body of the medical entrance exam, has announced stringent measures aimed at curbing malpractices during the examination.

With a staggering 24 lakh candidates registered for the highly competitive exam, NTA has underscored its commitment to fairness through a series of posts on X.

The NTA will conduct the NEET (UG) 2024 for more than 24 lakh candidates at different centers located in 557 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities Outside India on May 5, 2024 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M.

Emphasising the importance of honesty and integrity, NTA revealed its arsenal of safeguards, including biometric authentication, cutting-edge AI tools, and a robust framework for strict disciplinary actions. These measures are designed to uphold the sanctity of the examination process and guarantee a level playing field for all NEET 2024 aspirants.

In its statement, NTA reiterated its unwavering stance against any form of malpractice, highlighting a zero-tolerance policy that leaves no room for compromise. By leveraging advanced technology and implementing rigorous protocols, NTA aims to instill confidence in the integrity of NEET 2024, thereby reinforcing the values of honesty and fairness in the realm of examinations.

The NTA has released the NEET admit cards on May 2.
