2025 BYD Seal Launched At Rs 41 Lakh With New Comfort And Convenience Features

Last month, the 2025 BYD Seal was released at a price of Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom), with an improved suspension and several convenience features. A new colour for the interior upholstery and a new comfort feature have also been added to the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV for 2025. The BYD Seal’s base price hasn’t changed, but the Premium RWD and Performance AWD now cost Rs 15,000 more.

Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), which were previously only available on the highest Performance trim, are now available on the Seal’s mid-spec Premium model. The DiSus-C system, which BYD has included in the Performance model, has the ability to instantly tighten the suspension during cornering, braking, and accelerating as well as soften it on uneven roads.

This year’s upgrade includes a motorized sunshade for all BYD Seal models; previously, an aftermarket fix-in-place sunshade was an accessory. As we mentioned in our Seal review, this improvement should keep the cabin from getting overly hot when driving in the sun. Additionally, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are already commonplace. Additionally, an upgraded air conditioning and purification system has been added to the electric vehicle.

A new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery with a 15-year lifespan is also included with the Seal. The business claims that compared to a traditional lead acid battery, it is six times lighter.

The new Atto 3 has ventilated front seats and an all-black (formerly three-tone) interior. Similar to the Seal sedan, BYD has also changed the lead acid battery in the electric SUV to the aforementioned LFP battery.

With prices starting at Rs 24.99 lakh for the 49.92kWh Dynamic model, BYD is selling the first 3,000 units of the MY2025 Atto 3. With a 60.48kWh battery pack, the Premium and Superior models cost Rs 29.85 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh, respectively (all prices ex-showroom India).

Comfort, technology, and performance are all improved with the 2025 BYD Seal and Atto 3 upgrades. BYD enhances its EV offering in India with features including DiSus-C suspension, wireless smartphone connectivity, frequency selective dampers, and long-lasting LFP batteries. Their attractiveness in the expanding premium electric vehicle market is further enhanced by their competitive pricing.
