Blu Armor C20 Helmet Intercom Launched Available For Introductory Price Of Rs 7,000

The C20 is BluArmor’s most reasonably priced helmet mesh intercom to date. It is priced at an introductory Rs 7,000 and shares the flagship C50’s physical factor and rear-mounting configuration.

The BluArmor C20 mesh intercom is similar to the C50 in terms of design and how it attaches to your helmet. BluArmor has removed several features to make the C20 more reasonably priced, but it still includes all the necessary components. It has an IP67 waterproof rating, a battery life of more than 16 hours, Bluetooth 5.3, over-the-air software upgrades, and a straight-line range of 1.10 km, which drastically reduces to 200–300m in heavy traffic.

It’s interesting to note that the C20 has features like crash detection, a 2-level noise filter, and Bluetooth-only compatibility with other manufacturers despite being less expensive.

However, it lacks some of the C50’s more expensive features. For instance, in contrast to the C50’s group music sharing capability, it only allows one-to-one music sharing. Additionally, it only provides a two-port connection, as opposed to the C50’s three-port configuration, which restricts the number of devices that may be connected at once. Considering that the C20 is only 40% more expensive than the C50, it is arguably possible to live without these kinds of ostentatious features.

The C20 has eRIDEGRID+, a mesh-based hybrid system that can easily switch to Bluetooth as necessary to maintain steady connectivity. The C20 can only be used as a group intercom, even though it supports eRIDEGRID+. This implies that it is devoid of some of the more sophisticated eRIDEGRID+ features found on the C50 Pro, like mesh-based audio sharing, which isn’t available on the C20.

The device can be used with C50 accessories, because of its rear-mounted location,  such as the magnetic dock that activates RideAura, BluArmor’s LED visibility system that also functions as a secondary brake light. The T-stick joystick, which may be attached to the handlebar, is also supported. The C20 and C50 share almost the same design, with the exception of the C20’s gunmetal grey wings and carbon-fibre-style center panel with C20 writing.

The C20, which costs Rs 10,000, is BluArmor’s cheapest intercom to date. However, it will be offered at a special price of Rs 7,000 if reserved before June 22. Delivery will begin on June 18.
