Benelli Launches Updated Benelli TRK 502 Models; Revamps TRK 502 Range
In India, Benelli has introduced the upgraded TRK 502 and 502X. The off-road-focused 502X will cost you Rs 6.80 lakh, while the road-biased 502 has a price tag of Rs 6.20 lakh. The TRK 502 range was introduced in 2019 and hasn’t changed since. The company has now released the pair’s first feature upgrade. A new TFT display with offline maps, smartphone connectivity, heated grips, and a heated rider’s seat is added to both bikes for 2025. A slipper clutch and TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) are two additional safety elements that Benelli has added to the TRK line. Benelli has also replaced the 502X’s spoked wheels with a pair of cross-spoke tubeless wheels.
It’s interesting to note that the road-focused TRK 502, which has alloy wheels on both ends and 17-inch wheels, weighs 223 kg more dry. On the other hand, the off-road focused 502X, which features a 19-inch cross-spoke front wheel, weighs 213 kg dry. This is true even though the 502X has a powerful upswept exhaust whereas the 502 has an underbelly exhaust. Despite the fact that their weights are same, the manufacturer also asserts that the aluminum swingarm has been optimized for improved handling.

Both motorcycles have 190mm of ground clearance and an approachable 800mm seat height. The mechanical components of both bikes are unaltered except from these modifications. The 500cc, inline-2, liquid-cooled engine that produces the same 47 horsepower and 46 Nm and is coupled to a six-speed gearbox is still present.
At the moment, the Benelli TRK 502 costs Rs 6.20 lakh and comes in just one colorway: black and white. The TRK 502X costs Rs 6.70 lakh and comes in white and green. A limited edition yellow model with golden rims that is based on the 502X is also available; it costs Rs 15,000 extra. The cost of every model has gone up by Rs 35,000.

It is important to note that Benelli has introduced the TRK 552, the newest model in the TRK 502 line. This new iteration has a completely new design, a somewhat more powerful engine, and a few extra features. For India, the brand has currently updated the globally phased-out TRK 502 range. When the brand chooses to introduce the brand-new TRK 552 series to India is still up in the air.
