The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is set to debut in India with a price tag likely surpassing the Multistrada V4 Pikes. Ducati has teased the launch of the most expensive and performance driven Multistrada called the V4 RS. Equipped with an engine that has been derived from the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 models.

Lightweight materials, sophisticated technical solutions and a distinctive style, produced as a numbered edition, it conquers roads thanks to its exclusive design and special Iceberg White coloring enriched with MotoGP-inspired elements. The new tail, realized in technopolymer, is integrated with a passenger grab handle, and with the number plate included on the plaque in black anodized aluminium on the steering head. An exciting motorcycle, devoted to performance thanks to the 180 hp 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, the same used for Panigale and Streetfighter.

The 1,103cc V4 is churning power of 180hp at 12,250rpm and 118Nm at 9,500rpm. It is worth noting that while the Multistrada V4 RS is the most powerful in the Multistrada range, it produces slightly less torque than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is going to compete with BMW Motorrad the M 1000 XR sports tourer. By now, we all know what happens when a Ducati gets a RS badge, it transforms into a performance beast to tame the race track, and that is exactly what the Ducati Multistrada is all about, while still being comfortable enough to ride more civilized roads. Multistrada V4 RS, lightness, thanks to carbon fibre and reduced weight thanks to the choice of components made of quality materials such as carbon fibre for the superstructures.

It is equipped with electronically adjustable Ohlin suspension and rides on a set of Marchesini forged wheels, both of which are also found on the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. It also gets brake pads sourced from the Panigale V4 and rides on a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 Corsa tyres. Ducati says that the V4 RS tips the scale at 225kg excluding the fuel. While prices haven’t been revealed, we can expect it to be priced higher than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak which is currently available at Rs 31.48 lakh.
