Jawa 350 Updated with Fresh Paint Schemes and Price Reduction

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced updates to the Jawa 350, launched in March this year. Now available in three new paint schemes—Obsidian Black, Grey, and Deep Forest—the Jawa 350 also sees the Chrome series enhanced with a new White color option. The existing color choices of Maroon, Black, and Mystique Orange remain in the lineup. Additionally, prices have been reduced by Rs 16,000, bringing the starting price to Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), down from the earlier single variant price of Rs 2.15 lakh. Key Updates

The updated Jawa 350 now includes the option of alloy wheels, which offer the added convenience of tubeless tyres. This update aligns with the motorcycle’s classic retro design, paying homage to the revolutionary Type 353 and 354 models. The timeless design, combined with modern engineering, helps the Jawa 350 set new benchmarks in the motorcycle industry.

Specifications and Features

The Jawa 350 remains mechanically unchanged, continuing to be powered by a 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine delivers 22.2 bhp and 28.2 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle is built on a double cradle frame, featuring 35mm front telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers with preload adjustability for suspension. Braking is handled by a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Weighing 194 kg, the Jawa 350 boasts a class-leading ground clearance of 178mm.

Competitive Positioning

The Jawa 350 competes against popular models such as the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Honda CB350. The reduction in price and the addition of new variants and color options enhance its competitive edge in the market. The introduction of alloy wheels with tubeless tyres also adds to the bike’s appeal, offering both aesthetic and practical benefits.

Future Prospects

Speculation suggests it could be the BSA Gold Star 650, further expanding the brand’s portfolio and keeping the market engaged. The Jawa 350’s updates, including new colour schemes, alloy wheels, and a price reduction, reinforce its position as a modern yet timeless classic motorcycle. With a powerful engine, robust design, and enhanced features, it continues to attract enthusiasts who appreciate both style and performance. As the brand prepares for future launches, the Jawa 350 remains a strong contender in the retro motorcycle segment.
