Maruti Suzuki Teases E Vitara Before Its Launch At Bharat Mobility 2025

At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Maruti Suzuki will showcase the eBorn SUV, the e Vitara, a worldwide model made in India that is revolutionizing electric mobility in India. Suzuki Motor Corporation recently debuted the e Vitara in Milan, Italy.

The absence of easily available charging stations is a major obstacle to the uptake of EVs. We are dedicated to launching a dependable and all-encompassing EV ecosystem in conjunction with the e VITARA in order to address this problem.

Along with a statewide network of fast chargers accessible at Maruti Suzuki dealerships and service locations, this will also offer home charging options. With the e VITARA, we want to accomplish our mission of making EVs more affordable, practical, and appealing to a wider range of consumers.

There are two battery capacities available for the e Vitara: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. While the 61 kWh is available in both 2WD with a single motor and AWD with twin motors, the 49 kWh is only available in 2WD. 142 horsepower and 189 Nm of torque are produced by the 49 kWh, 172 horsepower and 189 Nm by the 61 kWh single motor, and 181 horsepower and 300 Nm by the AWD version. Lithium-iron-phosphate batteries and an eAxle that integrates the motor and inverter are elements of the new Heartect-e platform. It is built for smooth overtaking at low and high speeds, as well as quick acceleration from a stop.

Two-wheel drive and electric four-wheel drive, or AllGrip-e as Suzuki refers to it, will be options for the e Vitara. With dark grey accents on the door panels and surrounding the air conditioning vents, the interior features a dual-tone colour scheme.

It includes a computerized driver’s dashboard, a large screen with the infotainment system, and a two-spoke steering wheel. Physical climate control buttons, a volume controller, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and many drive modes are all features of the centre console.

Additional functions including steep descent control and Trail mode are added to the AllGrip-e version. The e Vitara will have an ADAS suite for safety. The e VITARA blends cutting-edge technology and contemporary style, drawing inspiration from the idea of a “Emotional Versatile Cruiser.”
