Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 New Blacked-Out Variant Launched At Rs 3.71 Crore

With a starting price of Rs 3.71 million, Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the new Maybach GLS 600 Night Series. For almost Rs 25 lakh more than the existing model, the new version, which sits at the top of the Maybach GLS lineup, offers just cosmetic improvements. At Auto Expo 2025, Mercedes also unveiled a Night Series version of the Maybach EQS 680 SUV.

With Mojave Silver on the top half of the SUV and Onyx Black on the bottom, the Maybach GLS 600 Night Series has the brand’s signature two-tone paint job. The front grille panel and headlamps have rose gold accents, and many of the external fixtures are blackened out to match the concept. Furthermore, the SUV receives all-black Maybach-spec 22-inch wheels that look virtually identical to the ones found on the Maybach EQS 680 SUV Night Series.

The blacked-out exterior motif is carried over into the Maybach GLS 600 Night Series’ interior. The all-digital instrument cluster also features a unique Night Series animation, and the seats are encased in custom Nappa leather with aluminum and wood accents. The Maybach GLS 600 top-spec model, which includes luxuries such a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 27-speaker sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, and more, has the same equipment list and general cabin layout as the SUV.

Since the Maybach GLS 600 Night Series doesn’t undergo any technical modifications, it has the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 550 horsepower and powers the regular Maybach GLS 600. A 48V mild hybrid system helps the motor by supplying a 250Nm boost, resulting in a torque output of 770Nm. The SUV can complete the 0-100 kph sprint in 4.9 seconds when paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels.
