The Rolls-Royce Ghost is being readied for a mid-life update. This entry-level sedan has been on sale in its current generation since 2021, and fresh spy shots from our friends at Motor.es preview some of the changes expected on the sedan that will launch next year.
The Ghost facelift will incorporate design updates and features from the refreshed Cullian SUV that went on sale a few months ago. Spy shots confirm an altered front fascia with a new-look bumper replete, with horizontal slats on the air dam. It gets slimmer but wider headlamps, which are almost connected to the large grille. The headlamp inserts seem new with some blacked-out elements that aren’t found on the current Ghost. The reshaped chrome grille resembles the one on the Spectre EV and may also get illumination just like the Spectre.
The facelift, indicates that the Rolls-Royce Ghost is receiving a series of design and feature upgrades to keep the model fresh and competitive during its production cycle. These updates typically involve aesthetic changes, such as revised front and rear fascias, updated lighting elements, and possibly new interior features or technology.
The purpose is to refresh the vehicle’s appeal without launching an entirely new generation, thus extending its market value and relevance. In this case, the Ghost’s updates draw from the design language of newer models like the Cullinan SUV and Spectre EV, suggesting a more modernized look and possibly improved performance or handling.
Changes noticed are minimal except for the taillamps at the rear, which feature a slightly altered shape and new inserts. Giving the Ghost a more modern look, the lighting bits will now resemble those on the Spectre. The rear bumper has been slightly redesigned, and the exhaust tips are now concealed beneath to add to the aesthetic touch.
There will be subtle changes on the inside too, however, details on that are not yet known. Under the hood, the current 6.6-litre V12 will continue as is, but the car will get some tweaks to its dynamic chassis control tech for even better ride and handling. Expect more details on the refreshed Rolls Royce Ghost to be revealed closer to global debut.
