Skoda Elroq vRS breaks cover –was unveiled by Skoda at Milan Design Week 2025
After being teased for a few days, Skoda has officially revealed the Elroq vRS, its quickest electric vehicle in the lineup. The Czech automaker has now introduced a performance version of the entry-level Elroq, which debuted last year. The Elroq vRS receives a significant performance boost over the standard Elroq along with a few small visual changes.
With a few minor modifications, the Elroq vRS’s general design is essentially unchanged. Notably, it now has a honeycomb-patterned air dam and a revised front bumper with body-colored details. Blacked-out Skoda branding, black roof rails, a grille cover with illuminated slat patterns, and vRS badging on the front fenders are other distinctive features.
LED matrix headlights, unique 20-inch alloy wheels (with possible 21-inch versions), a blacked-out back bumper with an enlarged reflector strip, and tinted rear windows are some more notable design elements. Additionally, this specific trim is coated in the Mamba Green paint that is only available from vRS.
Bright green highlights and Alcantara trim on the dashboard, seats, center console, and armrest define the Elroq vRS’s interior. Both the 13-inch infotainment touchscreen and the 5-inch digital driver’s display have vRS-specific visuals, and an augmented reality heads-up display is an optional feature.
Additional features include wireless device charging, four USB-C connections for quick charging, ambient lighting, heated and electrically adjustable front seats with a massage function (passenger side optional), and an optional 12-speaker, 675W sound system. The Elroq RS’s greatest feature is located underground. The larger 84 kWh battery is fitted to the Elroq vRS, which is based on the top-spec 85 trim. The WLTP range has decreased by 32 km to 550 km due to the addition of a more potent powertrain. The battery powers a two-motor system that produces 335 horsepower in total. It takes the Elroq vRS 5.4 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph.
Skoda will offer a 11kW AC charging which requires eight hours to juice up the battery from 0 to 100 per cent. The Elorq vRS also supports DC fast charging up to 185 kW that rejuvenates the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in just 26 minutes.
