What’s New In JSW MG That Launched Hector Snowstorm At Rs 21.53 Lakh

JSW MG Motor marked the fifth anniversary of the Hector with the launch of a special Snowstorm edition, starting at Rs 21.53 lakh. The Snowstorm edition represents the top-tier variant and is available for both Hector and Hector Plus models. Offered in both petrol and diesel options, the Hector is the second model in MG’s lineup to feature a special edition Snowstorm variant. The Hector Snowstorm edition offers both petrol and diesel options and is available in various seating configurations.

The Hector Snowstorm features a dual-tone roof in black and a white body. MG Motors has enhanced the SUV with dark chrome accents on the front grille, bumper garnishes, door handles, roof rails, tailgate, and side cladding. The headlamp bezels are piano black, while the connected tail lamps have a black finish. The Hector rides on 18-inch black alloy wheels with red callipers and sports red inserts above the headlights, on the ORVMs, and the front and rear bumpers. Plus, customers can have the Snowstorm emblem installed at the dealership free of charge.

The interiors of the Snowstorm boasts impressive features. It has a 14-inch vertical touchscreen system, creating a modern look. The cabin is all-black with stylish gunmetal grey trim inserts on the dashboard, doors, and centre console. Enjoy the view through the panoramic sunroof while staying comfortable with climate control featuring rear AC vents. The power driver seat ensures a smooth ride. Additional perks include Level 2 ADAS for added safety, a 360-degree camera, a digital instrument cluster for easy monitoring, and a full LED light package for enhanced visibility.

The engine remains the same with the current 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engines. The turbo-petrol provides 143 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, and the diesel offers 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The Hector Snowstorm turbo-petrol comes with a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission, and the diesel version is available only with a six-speed manual transmission.

In contrast to the exterior paint, the cabin features an all-black interior with gunmetal accents on the centre console, door handles, steering wheel, AC vent garnishes, and gear knob. The SUV is equipped with a 14-inch portrait infotainment system and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Additionally, the front headrests are adorned with the Snowstorm logo, and it includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
