Adani Defence and Aerospace signed an agreement with Thales Group that could be a cusp in India’s spacecraft. Thales Group a French multinational company that designs and develops electrical systems and makes aerospace equipment has now announced its partnership with the leading business conglomerate Adani Group in an X post.

The company stated in an X post: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Adani Group in India. We look forward to collaborate on the manufacturing of Thales’ 70mm rockets in India. This partnership is a key milestone in our continued support of  ArtmanirbharBharat’s vision for India’s growing defence industry.”

 

Adani Defence and Aerospace signed an agreement with EDGE group functions in the UAE earlier this year. EDGE Group is one the largest and world’s leading technology and defence groups in the Middle East. The agreement with Adani Group aims to set up a global platform providing more technological advancement in the field of defence and aerospace.

It will also cater to the establishments of R&D facilities in India focused on development, production and manufacturing rambling to global markets.

In the year 2021, Thales had completed 500 million Euros worth of local funding from India and tried to grow it to over 1 billion Euros for five years. It was said by Patrice Caine, Chairman and Chief Executive of Thales Group in a report.

Later in February 2024, Adani planned to invest 30 billion rupees in aerospace manufacturing and missile making. According to the reports, the recent partnership with Thales to make rockets in India would benefit aerospace and further contribute to India’s growing defence industry.
