While many young people are rushing to migrate abroad for better job opportunities in India, Salvin Mathew from Idukki, Kerala has chosen a different path. He works from the comfort of his own home, creating brand identities for companies in over 20 countries. He has been earning a whopping income per month.
Salvin’s journey began eight years ago when he started working as a graphic designer for a private company. However, he soon realised that he wanted to work independently and started participating in international logo and branding competitions.
His big break came when he won several competitions and foreign companies started approaching him for his services. Today, Salvin earns between Rs 3 to Rs 13 lakh per month, working for companies in the United States, Canada, and several European countries.
Salvin who is a resident of Kallungal East in Idukki, started creating logos, boards, and covers for these companies and his services became high in demand.

Salvin’s journey as a brand identity developer began when he was approached by a hair-cutting salon to design its logo and branding. The salon was named “Thala” (meaning “head” in Malayalam), and Salvin came up with the catchy tagline “Thalayil Kayari Mudi Vettaam” which indirectly means (come to the shop and get a haircut), This tagline garnered attention and later international brands started approaching him.
Salvin’s success has also helped him to fulfil his dream of building a beautiful home for his family. He has constructed a stunning house in Kattappana, complete with a modern office setup that allows him to work efficiently.

He is the son of the late Mathew and Mariyamma and is married to Maria Abraham, who previously worked as an operations manager for a foreign company. She quit her job to support Salvin in his work.
