She is deeply invested in the Piramal Foundation’s programs, including Piramal Swasthya, Piramal School of Leadership, and Piramal Sarvajal.
The Piramal Group manages Pharma, Financial Services, Real Estate (Piramal Realty), and Philanthropic efforts through the Piramal Foundation.
Nandini Piramal can be called a prodigy. She holds an impressive educational background. She earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, California, and a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University,England Before pursuing her MBA, she worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. She joined the family business in 2006.

In 2009, she got married to Peter DeYoung. It was a Christian wedding and was held at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. He serves as the CEO of Piramal Global Pharma and is an Executive Director at Piramal Pharma. Like Nandini, Peter is a Stanford University alum, having earned an MBA as an Arjay Miller scholar. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Princeton University and has experience working at McKinsey & Company in New York and Mumbai. The pair has a daughter and a son.
Nandini Piramal’s net worth is not publicly disclosed. However, her father Ajay Piramal is among India’s wealthiest billionaires. His real-time net worth is $2.8 billion, (approximately Rs 23,307 crore). As per the annual report, the Piramal Group’s consolidated revenue for Fiscal Year 2023 is Rs 9,087 crore.
