Reliance Jio, leading telecom andinternet service provider, has introduced three new 5G booster plans that aim at users with prepaid plans of 1GB or 1.5GB of daily data with the same validity as your existing internet package. It was announced listing under the True Unlimited Upgrade section on its website comes in a price range of Rs 51, Rs 101 and RS 151, but valid only with the 479 and 1.899 prepaid internet packages.

The Rs 51 plan is the cheapest with unlimited 5G access and 3GB of 4G net. The validity of this package matches the subscriber’s active plan. However, the bandwidth will be limited to 44kbps. The Rs 101 and Rs 151 booster plans offer 5G connectivity compatible with the 5G network area along with 6GB data and 9 GB respectively. These data plans are targeted at users with a 1.5GB daily data plan with more than one month of validity.

If the 5G network is not available this plan may consume from users’ 4G quota. The earlier Rs 61 plan which offered 6GB with the same validity as the existing plan will be discontinued further introducing these 5G booster plans. The new 5G plans are intended to reflect the company’s notion to enhance 5G which would further allow users to connect to 5G along with 4G substantial data.

In June Reliance Jio increased its monthly recharge plan, Rs 155 will now cost Rs 189, which is the smallest price hike of all. While the most used Rs 239 monthly plan with  1.5 GB data per day increased to  Rs 299 with almost a 25% increase. The annual package surged from Rs 2,999 to Rs 3,599 with the highest rate surge in an annual package affecting over 472 million users. The revised price came into effect on July 3 and the new packages are available on their website and other recharge platforms.
