The first signs of service disruption emerged around 1:30 PM, when approximately 200 users initially reported issues with Jio’s mobile services. Within less than an hour, complaints increased to more than 12,000 cases by 2:17 PM, signaling a significant breakdown in service. Aside from the massive network outage located across Kerala, the complaints were lodged in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Though the services have reportedly been restored, Jio has not given an explanation for what exactly led to the disruption.

Sharing screenshots about network outage, Jio users expressed their frustration through social media platforms.

“Who take responsibility the loss of money due to jio network work issue what do for important schedules,” tagging the official handle, a user remarked.

Another user wrote, “Jio network down (16-06-2025) for 1+ hour! No calls, no internet — not even signal. How do we trust a top-tier network like this? All my work got delayed. This isn’t a glitch — it’s a full failure. We need answers.”

“Jio network is down. Using only one SIM, especially Jio, is like driving through a high-range area without a stepney,” commented a user.
