Infosys” Nandan Nilekani and NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang, met recently. On his recent trip to India, the CEO of NVIDIA has met technology leaders, and also partnered with Reliance Jio and Tata Communications.
In a Twitter post by Infosys, both, NVIDIA’S Jensen Huang and Infosys’ Nandan Nilekani was seen together. The post read, “in a recent gathering of some of the brightest #AI & startup minds, it was insightful to hear tech leaders, @NandanNilekani, Infosys, & Jensen Huang, Nvidia, discuss the future of AI and how it will transform the future. Stay tuned for what”s coming #InfosysTopaz.”

The NVIDIA website, on the CEO’s visit has written on, “NVIDIA Partners With India Giants to Advance in World’s Most Populous Nation”, which speaks of its collaboration with the Reliance and Tata in building AI infrastructure and has posted the picture of Mr. Huang with Mr. Nilekani. The picture has been posted on the Infosys Linkedin page too.
As a part of his discussions about plans for India, in a talk that Mr Huang had with AIM, he has said that AI could be potentially India’s largest exports and that NVIDIA would be re-skilling India’s employees into becoming AI engineers, along with support for AI startups in building AI models and applications in a local manner. While talking about the partnering and re-skilling plan, the AIM said that this would include TCS, Infosys, Wipro and others. The talk is said to have taken place at NVIDIA’s Bengaluru office. Earlier Mr. Huang had said that India is a country which has the scale, data and talent to do well in AI.
On Topaz, Infosys says that it is a first set of services, solutions and platforms which uses generative AI technologies. Topaz is to help in amplifying the potentials of humans, enterprises and communities in creating value from unprecedented innovations, pervasive efficiencies and connected ecosystems. This Infosys AI framework could help people bring cognitive solutions, accelerate growth, build connected ecosystems and unlock efficiencies at scale, the Infosys website said about Topaz.
Though no other details were given, the post said to stay tuned to what would be coming, setting speculation rise.
