UPI System Is Back After Intermittent Technical Issues, Says NCPI
New Delhi, March 26: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) confirmed that the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) system has stabilised after experiencing intermittent technical issues earlier.
“NPCI had faced intermittent technical issues owing to which UPI had partial decline. The same has been addressed now and the system has stabilised. Regret the inconvenience,” NPCI said in a statement.
Users across the country had reported unexpected transaction failures on popular payment platforms like Google Pay and Paytm. The disruption led to delays and inconvenience for many relying on UPI for digital transactions.
NPCI has assured users that the system is now functioning normally. However, no details were provided on the cause of the disruption. With UPI being a key part of India’s digital payment ecosystem, even brief outages can significantly impact users and businesses relying on real-time transactions.
