"We Couldn't Build One Like This" Says Trump After Flying On New Qatar Gifted Luxury Boeing 747
US president has made his maiden journey in the the new luxury Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar’s royal family. After taking the trip, the president hailed the experience in the plane calling the aircraft “maybe the greatest commercial plane ever built”
The president said he was honoured to fly on the aircraft and praised its design and features, adding that they would not build one plane like this. Trump also called the aircraft ‘finest’ of its kind.

The aircraft landed at Joint Base Andrews after Trump returned from North Dakota, where he attended events linked to the upcoming opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.
The jet, estimated to be worth around $400 million, was recently gifted by Qatar without conditions. The Qatar’s gift, however sparked a fresh debate in Washington, with critics raising questions about the legal, ethical and national security implications of accept such costly items from foreign country.
Notably, Trump defended the decision to accept the plane, arguing that the current Air Force One fleet is outdated.
