CBSE Class 10th And 12th Result Announced, No Merit List

The CBSE Class 10th and 12th board results were announced today on May 13, 2024. The board released a complete document showcasing data regarding the number of students registered, who appeared, the total number of schools that participated, an overall pass percentage, statewise pass percentage performance, and many other details about the exam and the result.

But one information is missing from the official notification of the CBSE board result 2024 the names of the toppers and the merit list. As we have seen that the state boards and other national boards furnish information over the toppers name however any such information is not given in the CBSE board result. The board has given clarification over the decision.

The board stopped publishing the merit list and toppers” names to stop considering the practice unhealthy and unnecessarily competitive. The board said that “as per the earlier decision taken by the board to avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list is declared by the CBSE. Also, Board does not award first, second and third divisions to its students”.

However, the board issues the merit certificate to top 0.1% of students who scors the highest marks in the subjects as per the board”s information. The CBSE board said that the merit certificate will be made available in the Digi-Locker of the students who performed well the board examination.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the regionwise information along with the unfairmeans cases noticed in 2024 examinations, compartments etc.
