This year, 4,62,580 candidates have registered for the CUET-PG examination, which is being held for admission to postgraduate courses in various central universities. The total number of candidates registered for this national-level entrance examination has seen a marginal increase from last year”s 4,58,774. Among the states, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of candidates with 88,065, and Delhi saw 87,371 students registering for the CUET PG exam scheduled to be held from March 11 to 28. Kerala came in third place in registrations with 30,394 candidates, reported manoramaonline.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been tasked with administering the CUET or Central University Entrance Test (CUET) for Post Graduate (PG) programs in 2024.
CUET, designed for admission to various programs offered by participating Central Universities, offers students a single-window opportunity to secure admission to these institutions nationwide.
The CUET PG entrance examinatin will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in three shifts in exam centres across India.
According to the notification released by the NTA, the CUET PG admit cards or hall tickets are expected to be released on the official website on March 7, 2024.
The registration process for the examination was concluded on February 13.
The medium of question paper for CUET (PG) 2024 will be English and Hindi (bilingual) except for languages, M. Tech Higher Sciences and Acharya papers (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan and Indian Knowledge System, the information bulletin of the exam said.
Entrance examination syllabus for the question papers of CUET PG would be available on NTA or Samarth website at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
