The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for CUET UG 2026, providing relief to thousands of aspiring undergraduate students across India. Originally set to close on January 30, 2026, the online application window is now open until February 4, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM), with fee payment deadline pushed to February 7, 2026.

This extension also covers the correction window, now from February  9 to 11, 2026.

Candidates who appeared for the preliminary test between January 13-21 can submit online applications via the NTA website, while those shortlisted from the Central Universities’ window must apply promptly.

The exam itself remains tentatively scheduled from May 11 to 31, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across 387 cities in India and 24 international centers.

Students can apply at cuet.nta.nic.in by filling personal, academic details, uploading documents, and paying fees via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. NTA advises checking eligibility for 37 subjects and over 250 participating universities, including central, state, and deemed institutions. Corrections are allowed only in the specified window, and no further extensions are expected.

Candidates, especially those from Kerala and other regions, should avoid last-minute rushes and regularly check nta.ac.in or cuet.nta.nic.in for updates.
