CUET Application Submission Date Extended After Candidates Complain Of Technical Glitches

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the date of registration for Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET -UG) 2024 after applicants complained about technical glitches. The Agency, which is mandated by the ministry of education and University Grants Commission (UGC) for conducting the entrance test for undergraduate courses in participating universities, said dates have been extended after it received request from candidates and other stakeholders. Now, the CUET UG applications will be accepted till March 31, 204. Today, March 26, was the last date of application, according to the earlier notification by the NTA.

CUET UG new application submission dates

Earlier, applicants have complained about various issues they were facing while trying to fill CUET UG application forms through cuetug.ntaonline.in.

“Dear NTA, Please try to understand the issue the students facing while they are filling the CUET form. Since three four days, your site is not working properly… OTP issue and various technical glitches. Please extend the date of form filling,” a candidate posted on X.

Another candidates wrote that he was unable to fill the application for his brother for the last four days.

“The deadline for online submission of the application form for the CUET-UG – 2024 has been extended to 31 March 2024 (Up to 09:50 P.M.) based on the request received from candidates and other stakeholders,” UGC chairpersn Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has also posted on X.
