Empowering Faculty: NIT Calicut Holds Panel Discussion on Service Jurisprudence in NITs

The Faculty Association of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut organized a panel discussion on “Service Jurisprudence in NITs,” an event aimed at empowering and educating the dedicated faculty and staff members of the institution on service- matters.

The panel discussion, held on September 11, witnessed a gathering of accomplished experts and thought leaders including Dr. Ranjith Prasad Acharya, former Deputy Director and Legal Adviser to the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India; Dr. Lawwellman, Central Civil Services (CCS) expert and Assistant Professor at the Government Law College Calicut; and Dr. R Manu, Professor, NIT Calicut and Member of Board of Governors (BoG), NIT Calitcut.

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Shijo Thomas, Associate Professor, NIT Calicut.

Dr. T Radha Ramanan, President of the Faculty Association of NIT [City] (FANITC), presided over the function. Dr. Ramanan expressed the significance of such discussions in enhancing the institutional environment and commended the association”s dedication to knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

Dr. Muhammad Shafi, Secretary of FANITC, welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of collaborative learning and growth within the NIT Calicut community.

Dr. Manju Mahipalan, Treasurer of FANITC, delivered the vote of thanks.

The stakeholders across the institute highlighted the immense value of addressing service matters in higher education institutions.
