Techfest, IIT Bombay“s Annual Science and Technology Festival, and Asia’s Largest Science and Technology Festival hit an exceptional milestone with a whopping footfall of over 175,000, an online presence of over 5 million, and a social media outreach of over 3 million. A massive platform for enhancing tech curiosity and awareness was organised under the aegis of UNESCO, UNICEF, Make in India, and Digital India.
The Defense symposium was led by three prominent names in the defense forces – General Manoj Mukund Naravane, former Chief of the Army Staff; Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, former Chief of Air Staff; and Admiral Karambir Singh, former Chief of Naval Staff. They promised an insightful lecture series which delves into the realms of strategy, leadership, and the future of defense in the nation. Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, former Chairman of DRDO, was the keynote speaker for its Lecture Series and he offered unique perspective on the advancements and challenges in the defense sector.

Techfest IIT Bombay invited tech enthusiasts, defense aficionados, and the general public to witness this historic confluence of minds at the Defense Symposium. The festival promises not only a celebration of science and technology but also an exploration of the future of defense in India.
