NEET PG 2024 To Be Conducted On August 11 In Two Shifts: NBEMS

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has notified the revised schedule to conduct NEET-PG 2024. Continuing the board notice dated June 22, 2024, the NEET PG 2024 exam has been rescheduled. As per the new notification, the NEET – PG 2024 will be conducted in two shifts on August 11, 2024. According to the NBEMS notice, the cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the NEET – PG 2024 continues to be August 15, 2024. Moreover, the details about the conduct of the examination in two shifts and other relevant information will be published on the NBEMS website – natboard.edu.in, the notice read. Candidates are advised to communicate NBEMS for any query, clarification, and assistance concerning the examination.

Notably, the NEET PG 2024 was supposed to be held on June 23, 2024, when the notice came just after 12 hours notifying the postponement of the examination. The announcement about the exam came on June 22 by the education ministry following the uproar amongst students following the NEET PG related cases, cancellation of UGC-NET exam, postponement of other exams including CSIR UGC NET.

This time governement and agencies are taking extra precautions to block any mismanagement and malpractice in the exams. Reportedly, the question paper for the senior level medial entrance examination will now be prepared only two hours prior to the start of the examination.

The central government has also taken measures such as NTA director reappointment, CBI inquiry into NEET related cases and formation of expert committee under K. Radhakrishnan.
