NEET UG 2025 Results Will Be Released; Except For 11 Centres In Indore
National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 exam, on May 4, 2025 across the country at 5453 examination centres and 13 cities abroad. Now, over 21 lakh candidates are waiting for the results to be announced.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has allowed the NTA to go ahead and declare NEET UG 2025 results, after the results of 11 centres in Indore were affected by a power cut on exam day.

Earlier, the court had halted the announcement of NEET UG results 2025 across the country until the matter is heard. However, turning its decision, Justice Subodh Abhyankar has said that only 11 centres in Indore faced the issue and there is no reason to delay the entire country’s result because of them.
However, the petitioners who were affected by the technical glitches argued to conduct the re-examination to avoid the counselling-related delays. Moreover, students reported that they wrote exams in candlelight and could not read the questions properly due to low visibility in the examination halls.
Now, the court ruled in favour of NTA’s request to declare the result on time, leaving the 11 centres. The matter will be heard on May 19, 2025, after NTA’s submission on the details of those specific centres.
Notably, this year NTA has included government schools to be as examination centres. As per the reports, some of these government school centres did not have proper power backup facility.

NEET UG 2025 candidates can expect the provisional answer key in the last week of May. The result will likely be announced after the release of the final answer key. NTA will first release the NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key, followed by challenges to the answer key. After the consideration of the challenges by the expert panel, a final answer key will be prepared, followed by the result announcement.
