"Physics Was Toughest.."; Student's Reactions On NEET UG 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 on May 4, 2025. Over 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the examination held across 5453 centres in the country and 13 cities abroad. NTA has been vigilant throughout the examination regarding paper leak issues and the spreading of misinformation.

Meanwhile, the NEET UG 2025 paper has surprised the medical aspirants as they found the Physics section the toughest. Candidates shared views on social media. One user wrote, “NEET ka paper aisa bana diya, leak hoga bhi to kisi se solve hi nahi hoga (NEET paper would not be solved even if gets leaked)”. Another user doubts whether anyone could score more than 700 this time, unlike 720/720 by 67 students last year.

The renouned medical coaching institute Aakash Education shared students reaction where they were seen saying the Physics paper as totally unexpected. Students said that the level of exam was tough this time and they could not attempt all the questions in the given time.

Not only students even educators and teachers are saying the Physics section is tougher than the sections of Chemistry and Biology. Prominent educator from Physics Wallah, Alakh Pandey, also shared the analysis of the NEET 2025 exam, calling the Physics section particularly tough.

Moreover, the NEET UG 2025 exam registered the lowest attendence in the past five years, as per the reports. In 2025, almost 9 percent of the candidates did not appear for the NEET exam. The overall attendance remained at 91.4% in 2025. In 2024, recorded attenance was 98 percent, which was highest in the last five years.
