NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Announced

The Medical Counselling Commission (MCC) has announced the seat allotment results of the second round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG). This second round of counselling is for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS courses. Those candidates who participated in this round of counselling can check their results via the official website – mcc.nic.in.

The MCC extended the registration deadline under the second round due to the addition of 225 MBBS seats. The NEET UG round 2 seat allotment results will include details on NEET rank, allotted quota, allotted institute, courses, candidate category, allotted category, and other remarks.

Candidates who have alloted seats in this round will have to report to their institutions between September 20 to 27. The MCC has advised candidates to report any discrepancies in the provisional result to the MCC of DGHS via email – mccresultquery@gmail.com by 11 am on September 20.

Candidates have also got an option to upgrade their seats and must physically report to the alloted college. If a student is upgraded to a new seat in round 2, they must obtain a relieving letter from their round 1 seat and are required to join the round 2 seat. Candidates, who do not join the allotted seats in this round will forfeit their security deposit.

Step 1: Go to the official website – mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link  – ‘NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result’

Step 3: Login using application number and date of birth

Step 4: The NEET UG Round 2 alltoment result will be displayed.

Step 5: Download and save/print out for further reference.
