NSUI Wins Big In DUSU Elections; Clinches President Post After 7 Years

New Delhi: Congress’ student wing National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has won big in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUS) elections for which the results announced today. After 7 years, NSUI reclaimed the to post in DUSU with Ronak Khatri elected as President. NSUI’s Lokesh Choudhary was elected as Joint Secretary, another important post in the central post.

Khatri defeated Rishabh chaudhary, RSS-affiliated ABVP’s president candidate.

ABVP’s Bhanu Pratap and Mitravinda Karanwal won as the Vice President and Secretary respectively.

“Under the dynamic leadership of NSUI National President Varun Choudhary, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has secured a resounding victory in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, winning the prestigious posts of President and Joint Secretary,” NSUI said in a statement.

The student body claimed the triumph marks a significant step towards fostering inclusivity, harmony, and progressive change on campus.

Speaking on the occasion, NSUI National President Varun Choudhary said:

“This election, we fought for the Constitution, women’s safety, violence-free campuses, and to establish ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ in Delhi University. I am thrilled to announce that we have successfully opened the ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan,’ a symbol of love, unity, and positive change in the university.”

“This victory is a testament to NSUI’s unwavering commitment to addressing student concerns and promoting values that uphold the spirit of the Constitution.
