BITS Pilani Vice-Chancellor V. Ramgopal Rao informed about the BITS Admission Test notification in its various campuses and important ways to enter into the BITS. As per the notification, the last date for the application is April 11, 2024. The notification informs about the admission into different programs including B.E, B. Pharma, and M.Sc.
VC Rao informed via ‘X’ that the only way to join the BITS Pilani is through the entrance system. He informed about the no management quota for admission. However, the Vice Chancellor informed about some other ways to enter the campus. Firstly, students who secured first rank in the state or central level board exam in the year 2024 in India can choose a program of their choice to take direct admission without appearing for the entrance. Additionally, International Students with non-Indian passport holders with SAT Scores taken not before February 1, 2022, are also eligible to take direct admission.

To appear for the admission test students are required to get 75% aggregate marks in PCM/B and 60% marks in each subject P, C, M/B separately.
The BITS Pilani VC informed that the paper is conducted following the IIT and the paper will be a 3-hour computer-based test with the option to appear twice in the exam in different slots. The exam centres are all across India with two overseas centres in Nepal and Dubai.
He also added about the introduction of the New BE Programme titled Mathematics & Computing offered by the Mathematics departments. Furthermore, the BITS Admission Test Score also allows candidates to apply for joint 2+2 (dual degree) undergraduate programs with international universities in Australia and the USA.
BITS Also provides 100% tuition fee scholarships to top rankers of BITSAT-2024 and high-achieving female students in BITSAT from low-income families. Students also receive scholarships while studying ranging from 15-100%.
Notably, BITS stands under 500 in the QS World University Ranking in 2023. BITS campuses are in Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa and Dubai. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the new BITS Pilani campus in Kalyan, Mumbai. This is the 5th campus of the storied educational institution which hosts three schools including BITS School of Management, BITS Law School, and BITS School of Design.
