"School Is Important": Video Of Young Boy Who Wants To Become IAS Goes Viral

On social media, a 13-year-old child named ‘Adarsh Raj’ is shown in a video attracting the attention of many as he is expressing opinion over the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

When asked what the general populace thought about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the little youngster from the Chamar (Dalit) community responded “Beggers will increase from the temple”. He further added, “I prefer to go to school instead of going to the temple”.

While reiterating his statement the report intrigued him saying, “God will get happy and bless us”. The young boy responded, “God is giving nothing, we can’t get education without going schools”.

Asked upon by the reporter saying, “God will give job and bless us with education”. Adarsh Raj seemed unconvinced by saying, “I got education by going to school and no God came to give me education”. “I prefer to respect my parents and teachers than going to temple”.


He appeared discontent with the thought of receiving God’s blessings and education. When asked about his career aspirations, Adarsh replied that he wanted to join UPSC so that he could become an IAS officer and serve the nation. “Our folks, no one in our village goes to temple and you won’t find even a temple in our village”, Adarsh said when asked about his friends going to temple.

The young child responded, “Baba Saheb helped us by giving us rights and reservation through the Constitution and deserved to be worshipped,” when asked if he believed that Baba Saheb Ambedkar should be honoured.  He reiterated the advancements accomplished in Uttar Pradesh under the Mayavati administration, but he also appeared dissatisfied with the BJP government in power.

The youngster said, “They are not a threat,” in response to the topic of whether Muslims pose a threat to the nation. Together, we will walk in the name of brotherhood.
