"School Is Important": Video Of Young Boy Who Wants To Become IAS Goes Viral

A 13-year-old child named Adarsh Raj is shown in a now viral video attracting the attention of many as he expresses his opinions over the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

When asked what the general populace thought about the construction of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, the little boy from the Chamar (Dalit) community responded, “Beggers will increase from the temple.” He added, “I prefer to go to school instead of going to the temple.”

When the reporter said, “God will get happy and bless us,” the young boy remained indifferent. “God is giving nothing; we can’t get education without going to school,” he said.

Even when the reporter observed, “God will give us a job and bless us with education,” Adarsh Raj seemed unconvinced. “I got education by going to school, and no God came to give me education. I prefer to respect my parents and teachers than going to temple.”

He appeared discontent with the thought of receiving God’s blessings and education. When asked about his career aspirations, the 13-year-old said that he wanted to join UPSC so that he could become an IAS officer and serve the nation. “Our folks, no one in our village goes to temple, and you won’t find even a temple in our village,” Adarsh said when asked about his friends visiting the temple.

When asked if he believed that Baba Saheb Ambedkar should be honoured, the young child responded, “Baba Saheb helped us by giving us rights and reservations through the Constitution and deserved to be worshipped.”  He highlighted the advancements accomplished in Uttar Pradesh under the Mayawati administration, but appeared dissatisfied with the BJP government in power.

The youngster said, “They are not a threat,” in response to the topic of whether Muslims pose a threat to the nation. “Together, we will walk in the name of brotherhood,” stated the 13-year-old Dalit boy.
