Viswakarma Puja Held At IIT Kanpur Advanced Centre for Materials Science (ACMS)

Kanpur, 18 September 2023: The members of Advanced Centre for Materials Science (ACMS) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur along with the respective faculty coordinators of various ACMS Labs celebrated the Vishwakarma Puja. This year, the family members of the staff colleagues participated in the Puja, according to a statement from the institute.

The staff members from the Material Science Programme (MSP) and Material Science and Engineering (MSE) Department also joined their colleagues in ACMS for the Vishwakarma Puja.

Professor Abhay Karandikar, Director, IIT Kanpur joined the ACMS family for the Puja Aarti.

Afterwards, an Open House was organized for the children and spouses of the staff. The objective was to apprise the family members, especially the young children, about the facilities and activities at ACMS. The former Institute employees whose children are now serving at ACMS were also invited to grace the occasion with their presence.
