The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the class 10th result today, at 9 AM via a press conference. Students can check their results on the official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in by clicking on the “WB Madhyamik Board Result” link.
Cooch Behar’s Chandrachur Sen secured the 1st rank with 99 percent marks. Shyamapriya Guru received second rank with 98.86 percent marks. The third rank is collectively occupied by three students namely, Udayan Prasad, Pushpita Basuri, and Nairit Ranjan Paul with 98.71 percent.
WB Madyamik exam was conducted from February 2 to 12, 2024. This year nearly 9.12 Lakh students appeared for the class 10th board exams. Notably, more girls appeared for the board exams in this session. Out of the total students, 5, 08,698 were girls, and 4,03,900 were male candidates.
Reportedly, the pass percentage has improved this year to 86.31 percent in comparison to last year”s 86.15 percent. The highest pass percentage is from Kalimpong district with 96.26 percent.
To distribute the WB Class 10th mark sheet and certificates, the WB Madhyamik board has established subdivision-wise camp offices. From 10 AM today, schools can pick up their respective West Bengal Board Madhyamik mark sheets and pass certificates from the corresponding camp offices.
As per the passing criteria set up by the board, a student need to secure 272 marks out of a total of 800 marks. The grading system varies from AA to D which denotes performance from outstanding to disqualified.

Step 2: Click on the – WB Madhyamik exam result 2024 link given on the homepage
Step 3: Enter your credentials – roll number and date of birth and submit
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download and save or print the result
