Comedian’s Funny Route Suggestion To Reach South Mumbai Today Amid Rallies And IPL Match

With the final phase of Maharashtra’s election scheduled for May 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a political public rally for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections at Shivaji Park in Dadar on Friday evening. At the same time, the INDIA bloc too will hold a rally at BKC’s Pathaka Maidan the same evening.

Amid the political mayhem, Mumbai is gripped with cricket fever too. Mumbai Indians though struggling this IPL season is determined to prove their mettle against Lucknow Super Giants at the Iconic Wankhade Stadium. Though for some of them, it is merely another game on the calendar, however, for the die-hard fans, between politics and cricket, it is a logistical challenge. 

To manage the anticipated congestion the Mumbai Police has issued an advisory. Though the measures are taken, Mumbai city is known worst road traffic. However, Indian comedian Atul Khatri has come up with a hilarious solution to tackle road congestion. 

Atul in his post on X recommended the citizens that the best way to travel from North Mumbai to South Mumbai today is to take a flight to Goa from T2 Airport to Manohar International Airport and then swim back from Goa to Colaba, a city in Mumbai. 

The fifth phase election will be the last election to be held in Maharashtra. Elections will be held on May 20 for 13 parliamentary constituencies in Mumbai, MMR and North Maharashtra.

For the INDIA bloc rally, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP president Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray will address the rally.
