Election Commission Suspends Anjani Kumar, Director General Of Telangana Over His Visit To Revanth Reddy
The election Commission of India suspends Anjani Kumar, the Director General of Telangana police in the name of violation of the Model Code of Conduct, as per report. The incident that led to the suspension of Mr. Kumar was his visit to Anumula Revanth Reddy, who is a contestant in the ongoing assembly election.
Earlier today, Mr. Kumar went to meet Revanth Reddy, who is Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee with a flower bouquet at his residence. Sanjay Jain, the State Police Nodal Officer of Telangana, and Mahesh Bhagwat also joined Mr. Reddy in visiting the Congress leader.
