Congress candidate Raghuvir Singh Kadian won from Beri constituency of Haryana for a margin of 60,630 votes. He had defeated BJP’s Sanjay Kumar.
Beri is one of 90 assembly constituencies in Haryana. It is located in the Jhajjar district and is part of the Rohtak Parliamentary constituency. Sanjay Kumar of BJP, Raghuvir Singh Kadian of Congress, Sonu of AAP and Sunil of Jannayak Janta Party is the major candidates from the constituency.
In the 2019 assembly elections, RS Kadian of the Indian National Congress emerged victorious from this constituency after securing a total of 46022 votes.
During the 2019 Haryana Assembly election, BJP emerged victorious, bagging 40 of the 90 seats. The BJP formed the government in coalition with Dushyant Chautala-led JJP, which managed to win 10 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress party received 31 seats and the remaining were taken by INLD, Haryana Lokhit Party and independent candidate.
