The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Daleep Singh secured victory in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024 with an overall 10130 votes against the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference candidate Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal.
Bhaderwah is one of the 90 constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The NC and Congress have made an alliance under which Farooq Abdullah-led party will contest 51 of the 90 Assembly seats, and Mallikarjun Kharge-led party will field candidates in 32 constituencies. Meanwhile, the BJP chose Daleep Singh Parihar.
In 2014, Daleep Singh of the BJP won the seat with 25,953 votes and defeated Mohd Sharief Niaz of the Indian National Congress with a total vote of 24,457. Singh won with a margin of 1496 votes.
