BJP Leader Gopichand Padalakar has emerged victorious from Jat constituency, as the counting of the Maharashtra assembly elections underway. Padalakar defeated sitting MLA and Congress leader Vikramsinh Sawant by a margin of 38197 votes.
In the 2019 assembly election, the Congress candidate won the Jat constituency by a margin of 87,184 votes, but this time he lost the poll by around 38,197 votes. In the 2014 jat Assembly election BJP candidate Vilasrao Jagtap won around 72885 votes by defeating Congress candidate Vikramsinh Sawant.
