Jharkhand Election Results 2024 Live: JMM vs BJP, Who Will Win?

The counting of votes for the Jharkhand Assembly elections is set to take place today November 23, 2024. The main battle is between the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led INDIA alliance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for 81 seats altogether.

The main players are the JMM, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren contesting 41 seats. Key candidates include Hemant Soren, seeking re-election from Barhait against BJP’s Gamaliyan Hembrom, his wife Kalpana Soren from Gandey and his brother Basant Soren from Dumka.

As per the election commission JMM is leading in 30 seats and BJP in 27 seats and Congress in 14 seats.

Jharkhand Chief Minister JMM’s Hemant Soren is leading by 11,482 seats in Barhait against BJP’s Gamliyel Hembrom.

The early trends suggest that India-led JMM is expected to move towards victory.
