Adv.Rahul Uttamrao Dhikale of the BJP party retains the Nashik East constituency of the Maharashtra with a margin of 87,817 votes.
Securing a second second consecutive win, advocate Rahul bagged a total of 1,56,246 votes and defeated his rival Ganesh Baban Gite of the NCP-SP party. Ganesh Baban became the runner up of the election as he secured 68,429 votes.
In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly election, advocate Rahul won the seat on BJP ticket. He defeated the Balasaheb Mahadu Sanap of NCP with a margin of 12,081 which was 06.67% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.68% in 2019 in this seat.
In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Balasaheb Mahadu Sanap of BJP won in this seat defeating Chandrakant (Raju Anna) Pandurang Lavte of SS by a margin of 46,374 which was 27.74% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.21% in 2014 in this seat.
According to data released by the Election Commission of India, in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the estimated voter turnout in this Maharashtra constituency was 57.63%. In 2019, this seat registered a turnout of 47.1%, while it was 52.59% in 2014 and 48.53% in 2009. The estimated turnout in 2024 was -10.53% compared to the 2019 turnout.
